1962 Freeman 22 MK1 Classic Motor Cruiser GRP. Very sought after Boat, Length 22ft x 6ft.10ins, Headroom in rear under canopy steering helm is approx. 6ft.2, middle cabin 5ft10, Forward V berth is for seating or sleeping in, Very easy to handle, The Beta diesel engine gives you excellent economy using less than 1 Litre per hour compared to the very thirsty Watermota Petrol engine which uses 5 Litres an hour, The engine is run on Red diesel approx. 55p a Litre, Petrol is approx. £1.39 a Litre, Viewing highly recommended, It had a very expensive new motor installed a couple of years ago a Beta Marine Diesel 20hp - with very little use costing over £6500, This was serviced at the end of last year, runs very nicely and starts without any issues. The boat was also antifouled around the same time. The internal woodwork is in good order for a boat of this age, with original fixtures and fittings. There are 2 batteries for starting and providing 12v power, mains electrics, fenders, a thetford cassette toilet, gas cooker, and a boat safety certificate until 2014. It comes with fire blanket, fire extinguishers, DSC vhf radio and antenna, nav lights, grab rails (one set needs to be attached still), mast, anchor with rope and chain, and a few other bits and pieces. The previous owner started to remove and sand down the white paint from the topside.
